Under the dictatorship of Ben Ali, a man is kidnapped, tortured and killed, then vanishes without ever being found. Thirty years later, he comes back to talk to us. Taking over the question of his mother: “Where did you abandon my son’s body?”

Biography
Theater director and filmmaker Lotfi Achour has directed over 25 theatrical productions, including Macbeth, created for the World Shakespeare Festival during the London Olympics and produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company. In cinema, he has directed six short films selected in over 300 festivals and honored with more than 100 awards worldwide, including La Laine sur le dos (Law of the Lamb), selected for the Official Competition at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, and Angle Mort (Blind Spot) (Best Short at Cairo 2022, Best Documentary at Tampere 2022). His latest feature, Red Path, a Tunisian-French-Belgian-Polish co-production, premiered at the Locarno Festival and continues to tour international festivals, collecting numerous awards.
