SYNOPSIS
A photography student, frequently mistaken for a boy, returns to her hometown to attend her father’s funeral and is met with emotional distance from her estranged mother. Documenting her surroundings through her camera, she works through childhood memories and questions of gender identity, as family gossip deepens her inner turmoil – until an unexpected gesture from her mother closes the gap between them.

Biography
Kun Sun was born and raised in China. She holds a Master's degree in Ethnography and Documentary Film from UCL (University College London). She is currently completing her second Master's degree in Directing at LFS (London Film School). She has worked as a director, first assistant director, and producer on various short film projects.
