For the adult version of Lu, everything is a lucid dream that will help her manage all the emotions she has repressed over the years, but for the younger version of Lu, all the emotions represented are just a doll’s game.

Biography

(El Salvador, July 3, 1998) is a film director. She graduated in Communications from the Isabelle Allende School in San Salvador in 2016, began her studies in Social Work at the Dr. Andrés Bello University in 2018, and studied film production at ESCINE (El Salvador). In 2024, she graduated from the Casa Comal Film and Television School (Guatemala). Her work stands out for its use of an implicit visual language that questions realities and promotes reflections on invisible themes, appealing to the gaze and iconicity as narrative tools. She debuted at festivals with her debut feature, Shuchikisa (2021). In the following years, she wrote and directed: Ikigai (2022), Polietileno (2023), and Maktub (2024).

(El Salvador, April 21, 1999) is a young digital animator and director with a background in visual arts. Since childhood, he was drawn to visual arts, such as painting, and later, in his teens, he began creating homemade short films. In 2017, he graduated in Graphic Design from the Colegio Salesiano Santa Cecilia. Since then, he has deepened his knowledge with diplomas in film production at ESCINE (El Salvador) and the Casa Comal Film and Television School (Guatemala). In recent years, he has worked as a digital animator and has directed fiction short films, including: Un Horizonte (2018), Corazón Azul (2021), and Ikigai (2022).
