Hicham Amal is a Moroccan screenwriter and director who began his career writing TV films and series for Al Aoula and 2M. In 2016, he debuted as a director and producer with The Morphine Melody, which screened at DIFF and the Cairo International Film Festival, winning two awards at the Tangier National Film Festival. In early 2025, he returns with Mirror to Sell, his second film and first short feature, which he wrote, directed, and produced.
