Biography

Elias Suhail is a British-Moroccan writer and filmmaker based between the UK and Morocco. His debut short film Beneath a Mother’s Feet, supported by the BFI Network and distributed by MAD Solutions, has won multiple awards internationally. His writing—spanning fiction, poetry, and nonfiction—has appeared in The New Statesman, BBC Sounds, and more. Suhail’s work explores memory, identity, and liminal spaces through morally complex characters. He is currently developing his first feature film.
