The Marrakech Short Film Festival (MARRAKECHsFF) is delighted to announce its participation in the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand Market Days, where we’ll spotlight the innovative spirit of low-budget cinema through our Low Budget Film Program (#LBFILMPROGRAM).
As part of this showcase, we will present the outstanding film by Karim Taj, a talented emerging filmmaker whose project was realized during the first edition of this unique initiative. The Low Budget Film Program is designed to empower filmmakers working with limited resources, nurturing creativity and innovation in storytelling.
A Collaborative Effort
This project was made possible thanks to our partnership with Chaoui Production and the brilliant mentorship of Lamia Chraibi, a renowned producer whose guidance and expertise have been instrumental in shaping the program’s success.
On the Ground
Adding to the excitement, our international reporter, Gamal Ait Oufkir, will be present at the Market Days to engage with industry professionals, document the event, and provide real-time updates. His on-the-ground presence ensures that the creative energy and achievements of the program resonate with audiences far beyond the festival.
Why It Matters
The Low Budget Film Program is more than just a project—it’s a mission to reimagine the possibilities of filmmaking. By fostering innovation and supporting new talent, we aim to redefine the future of cinema and create a platform for emerging voices to thrive.
