Born in Ain Ebel, Lebanon, Pedro holds a bachelor’s in Audiovisual Arts from Beirut. He started as an art director before moving into photography and filmmaking, focusing on personal stories. His debut short, Autostrade Beirut, premiered at Raindance 2021 and earned him a scholarship for a master’s in Film Directing. His graduation film, A Mother Goes To The Beach, won several awards and screened at major international festivals. Pedro is now pursuing a PhD in Media Arts and Communication, researching gender representation in the Middle East through arts-based methods.
