CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The MARRAKECHsFF returns for its fourth edition enriched with new programs. The date of the festival will take place September 27th 2024.
This call for applications is addressed for directors of short films with a length between 6 and 20 minutes max, all genres combined. Intended for Moroccan and international directors,
the call for applications is open until April 20, 2024, available on the festival’s website.
The festival has three selections: the Moroccan selection, the international selection and the guest country selection, with a prize list dedicated to Moroccan films with three awards including : best director/best film and best actor/actress and a coup de cœur prize dedicated
to one of the movies from the international selection.
The objective of the Marrakech Short Film Festival is to be an event focused on the short film industry, by supporting the development of the Moroccan short film industry, building bridges with international platforms and enabling the directors to have a wider audience with our diverse programs that are running within the festival’s week and yearly.
The Marrakech Short Film Festival is an opportunity for the short filmmaking industry to grow and to enrich the national and international field by the diverse and important partnerships that the festival have.
