Nalaka Wijewardhane is a Sri Lankan filmmaker and visual artist whose work explores postcolonial memory, representation, and the sensory language of cinema. With a background in ethnographic research and film theory, he examines how cultural narratives are constructed, particularly in South Asian and Buddhist contexts. His practice blends archival material, sound, and poetic storytelling to question inherited gazes and evoke alternative ways of seeing.
