Biography

Guillermo Argueta is a Salvadoran filmmaker and cinematographer. He studied at Casa Comal (Guatemala) and EICTV (Cuba), and was selected for the Talents of the Guadalajara International Film Festival in 2019. His work as director of photography includes *The Furniture Maker* (Locarno 2019), *Fly So Far* (Grand Jury Prize, Seattle 2021), and *Lienzo en Blanco* (Ícaro 2022). As a director, his films include *When the Rain Subsides* (FICG 2021), *Sprouts the Wound Which None Divined* (Girona 2023), and *Where the Ceiba Blooms* (Girona 2024).
