Albert has spent his whole life wanting to travel but he has been stuck at home, living in a small town making enamel signs. He has saved up everything he could and reluctantly sells his home and livelihood to embark on this trip, a lifelong dream that will honor a deceased friend. But the journey he will embark on is not what he has anticipated.
Biography
Veronika is a director and producer based in Prague, Czech Republic. She is a graduate of FAMU, producing department, and was part of an exchange program at CalArts LA, directing department. Her debut film, “Golden Delicious” was screened at KVIFF, and awarded at international festivals. Her first commercial spot “Advertising Needs More Women” got her a Young Directors Award in the Czech Republic. The Wayfarer is her latest short film and has been supported and trusted by the Czech Film Fund, Czech TV, Zlin Film Festival, and others. She loves to tell her own stories and present unique worlds.
