Biography
Zakaria Aharrar is a Moroccan filmmaker, screenwriter, and film composer born in Rabat in 1998. A graduate in Film Studies from Abdelmalek Essaâdi University, he began his career in 2019. His short films, both fiction and documentary, explore bold human and social themes. His latest documentary Tale of a Team (2023) was selected for the 2024 Rabat International Author Cinema Festival and received a Special Jury Mention at Handifilm. He is currently developing feature-length projects blending emotional depth with innovative storytelling.
